Senior Scout Adventure: 2008 Evaluation Results

In an effort to continually improve the Adventure, assess expectations, to repeat what went well and to avoid any negative aspects in the future, participants were asked to complete two evaluation forms. The first one was by the Patrol as a group at the end of the Adventure, and the second by individual Scouts some three weeks later.

This makes interesting reading for all those that were part of the Adventure and will be used by the organising committee and Base Staff in planning the next Adventure.

Click on the links below to view the results. Of special interest is the 'Overall Rating' in both sections.

Ratings and comments made at the Adventure by the Patrol as a group

Ratings and comments made three weeks after the Adventure by individual Scouts

Two categories of Scout comments were removed from the Patrol Comment and Scout Comment.  They were:

1. All personal comments, be they good or otherwise.

2. Three additional comments, which were considered by the Adventure organisers to be fair and are noted, but unsuitable for general publication.

Please note that your comments and ratings are taken very seriously.  The organisers have responded to a number of your comments where deemed necessary, appropriate and of relevance.

Scout evaluations were accepted up until 20 January 2009 which was advertised as the closing date.  Late entries were noted but are not included in this analysis because of the workload in re-processing the stats for the few late entries.  All individual Scout evaluations were advertised and submitted via the email and therefore your valid email address was required by the organiser.

A Big thank you to the 48 Patrols and 58 Scouts who completed the questionnaires and to the compiler for all the hard work.
