The fleur de lis is the emblem of the South African Scout Association and the World Organization of the Scout Movement. It consists of a purple fleur de lis with two five-pointed stars, encircled by a rope tied in a reef knot.

The World Scout emblem is worn as the membership badge by over 28 million Scouts in 160 member countries. In South African the membership badge consists of a purple circle containing a white world Scout emblem, worn on the left shirt pocket.
