Hello from Kandersteg International Scout Centre! Summer has really
begun here with most of June being taken up with Staff training
and now all our Summer Staff are being kept busy with arrivals on
the Campsite and taking groups on guided hikes and climbing activities,
among other things. But while we are enjoying summer we are also
preparing for after summer. This is why we are writing to you to
let you know about some special weeks we are organising for September
2008.
I hope that you are able to help us in promoting these events and
letting Scouts in your association know about them. You can put
them on your website, in your newsletter or just tell anyone who
might be interested! We want to have a good international mix at
each event and hope to see your country represented here!
KISC Adrenaline Experience
August 31st - September 7th
First up we have the KISC Adrenaline Experience, open Scouts and
Guides over the ago of 18 (leaders too!). If you want a week of
High Adventure with like minded people, this event is for you! This
week is a perfect way to finish your summer on a high altitude note,
and make some new international friends!
To take part in the week you must:
Be over 18
Have a good fitness level
Be ready to try new activities
Have CHF 674- *(Euro 420)
Included in the price is:
All of your food and shared accommodation
6 days of high altitude adventure activities

KISC Members' Week
September 21st - 28th
Especially for Members of the KISC Association, we have the KISC
Members' Week! It is for all current Members and new Members can
sign up and come on the weekend too - so sign up now here and come
along! The week is for Members to come together and enjoy a week
long programme in Kandersteg. During the week you will get the chance
to meet KISC Members from all over the world and see the difference
you make.
To take part in the week you must:
Be a member of the KISC Association
Be ready to try new activities and make new friends
