MySchool Card Fundraising Initiative

SASA has an opportunity to join the MySchool/MyVillage card initiative. Every time the card is swiped at participating stores, SASA will receive an amount. The participating stores include Woolworths, Engen convenience shops, Kalahari.net, Reggie's, Toys R Us, Waltons, Club Travel, Quicksilver/Roxy, Jack's Paint and various local partners.

The money received will be used for social and environmental upliftment and development. SASA will report annually to the MySchool card initiative, which shall include written and photographic feedback, on how the funding received from MySchool was spent.

EXCO has made the decision that each Province will be able to apply for the funding for development projects. The amount allocated to Provinces will be determined once we have received the income.

In order to start the project a 1,000 x MyVillage Application forms need to be completed and sent to Provincial Headquarters, who will forward it to SAHQ.

Could we all please try to collect as many application forms as possible so that we can start the projects as soon as possible? There is no cost involved for the individual to join this initiative.
