Deadline extended to 30 April for Information Technology Assistant
applications
An internship position is available to assist the Director, Information
Technology in all aspects of development and maintenance of the
computer and network services provided through the offices of the
World Scout Bureau, including user support to employees and key
volunteers. The deadline for applications for this position has
been extended to 30 April 2009.
This position, based in Switzerland, should interest any young
PC and IT services technician or equivalent with some experience
of working in a mixed operating system environment, particularly
working with Linux/BSD or similar open source systems. The internship
provides a preparation for further studies in information technology
or a related specialism on return to the home country. The preferred
age range is 18-23 years old and preference may be given to applications
submitted by members of the Scout movement.
